Dressing Room


Cosplayers can enjoy a dedicated backstage area to relax, change into their outfits, and get ready for their big performance. Whether you're prepping for the contest or just fine-tuning your look, this space is all yours!

Meet & Greet


Meet the community face to face! Whether you are a casual visitor or a cosplayer, you can meet, connect and make new friends IRL at our Cosplay Village. Use your time to network and create some unforgettable memories with your favorite cosplayer or content creator.

Photobooth


Step into the spotlight and capture your cosplay moments with a professional photoshoot! In partnership with Cosbase, our photobooth offers cosplayers and all visitors the chance for short photo sessions in themed settings. These photos can be downloaded afterwards, making it a perfect keepsake for everyone who wants to remember their time at the festival.

Cosplay Contest


Show us what you’ve got and compete in our epic cosplay contest! We offer a 5.000 EUR prize pool and several categories where you can show off your amazing cosplays!

How to Join?


Simply fill it out the application form and you’ll have a chance to be part of the competition. Each participant will be judged in several categories with the opportunity to win prize money.

This category recognizes the best cosplay which stands out the most among all the great costumes. It will be judged on its skills, technique and craftsmanship. Our judges will take note of how your costumes, props and every detail of your cosplay was made.

Put together an awesome prop, something that stands out, lights up, or does something even more magical than we could ever imagine. Props are generally the objects you create in addition to your costume, bringing substance to your persona and giving it a special touch for the final look.

A cosplay embodying their character through and through. A pure representation of your character as if it was ripped right from the pages of the manga it was drawn from or the animation cells it was made in. You and your costume represent the character’s life essence? Then you have the best chances to win in this category.

Each of our amazing judges will select one cosplayer they can shout out and award a special prize to. They will select them on their own and can choose to celebrate whatever item, costume piece, or cosplayer they want.

Finalists who have less than 3 years of cosplay experience are eligible for this category. We want to reward those cosplayers that are comparably new but already show so much talent. It's always great to see new blood in the scene and we want to make sure to reward that.

Cosplay Performance Meisterschaft Deutschland

Why just one contest when you can also have two? In addition to this year's Gamevasion Cosplay Contest, there is another competition for you: the Cosplay Performance Meisterschaft Deutschland, or CPMD for short! It will take place on Sunday, December 8th on the main stage and is the official qualifying round for the federal state of Lower Saxony. The winner will qualify for the German qualifier at the Manga-Comic-Con in Leipzig in March 2025.
